This is my 1969 Scout 800. I have owned it for the past 4 years and am selling to clear up some garage space for my 76 Scout II project. It is a Right Hand drive, very rare, ordered and put in service originally as a postal Scout. Top is easily removable. I bought it in California, and took it down to bare metal prior to painting. There was no rust repair, as there was zero corrosion. I have over $13k invested. Front and rear glass are brand new along with all weather seals. The door hinges are a custom aluminum and made so the doors can be taken off with ease. The motor has been rebuilt, it drives out great, as long as you are not in a huge hurry. More new parts than I can list. It is a great old Scout, I have been proud to own it. It is an absolute head turner. It is not a show car, just a solid clean Scout that I have restored lovingly. The paint is pretty slick but not perfect. There is a mark here or there. That being said I am a medical doctor and meticulous. This is a 1969 model and not new. The hood emblem is missing along with the wiper arms. Those can be found easily on ebay. Otherwise she is complete and functional. I would not hesitate to drive her anywhere, however, I don't go over 55 in her. 3 speed automatic transmission. No leaks that I am aware of. I am pretty sure I have a title but will need to look. However its exempt in every state. No reserve, I need the space and want to see her go to a good home where she will be enjoyed. Bid with confidence! The frame and floors are rock solid, no rust. I do have an aftermarket oil gauge but all the other gauges are intact.
