You are looking at a 16 yr. old beauty that is still operational and needs a new owner to take care of her at a very affordable price. She is very clean for her age and runs very well to include a smooth transmission shift. Of course, she is old and could use some minor cosmetic repairs for the exterior and interior which was previously described in the conditions section to the best of my ability. Even though she drives well, I think she may need a tune-up because I haven't had one in the 2 years that I have owned her. Didn't need one probably until now. She drives normal for the most part but every-now-and-again, the drive timing seems temporary a little off but adjusts in 2-3 seconds when operating from a complete stop. This vehicle has not been involved in any major accidents to the best of my knowledge so her frame is still intact. Now, for her selling points. This vehicle comes with the standard features of a 1997 LS 400 to include ice cold AC for this summer, thunderous sounding Nakamichi sound system (I recommend that you do not turn the volume so far up), retractable sunroof, along with 17" chrome wheels and wheel lock. The tires are fairly new and has a lot of tread life left. A full-sized spare tire and toolkit lies in her spacious trunk. User manual and a clean title comes with this vehicle. I will leave to you in this vehicle the Ipod dock and cassette tape adapter for your MP3 player device since I know her cassette player is virtually obsolete. I have been the sole owner of this Lexus since November of 2010 and have enjoyed her usage and tried to take care of her to the best of what my money could afford (non-garaged residence). During this duration, I had some service done and parts replacement due to their old age. The following is the service I had done to her: Thermostat and gasket replaced 6/5/13 Rear brake pads, sensors, and rotors replaced 3/5/13 Remove, inspect, and replace transmission valve body, pump, and filter 11/27/12 Front brake pads, sensors, and rotors replaced 10/31/12 Replace steering rack and pinion 10/31/12 Replace power steering pump 10/31/12 Flush brake system 10/31/12 Replace timing belt with water pump and seals and tensioner 10/31/12 Flush cooling system with flush kit 10/31/12 PAYMENT: I am willing to sell vehicle to serious bidders only so Ebay "zero" or "one-starred" ranked bidders or "no Ebay history of bidding" or "history of repeated negative bidding" bidders need not apply to this auction. I will only accept PayPal registered bidders. Buyer must contact me within 24 hours upon close of auction and make payment arrangements.
