I am selling my 1967 Pontiac GTO. Known History: The car was bought used in September 2002 by a couple living in Gainesville, Florida. The husband was restoring the vehicle when his wife took ill. Restoration money went to pay medical bills and the car was placed on EBAY for sale. The vehicle was placed on a trailer and driven up here to New Hampshire for completion of the restoration by the previous owner. The engine was rebuilt in April 2003 and was adapted to take unleaded fuel. The car was painted that year. New headliner, carpets, radio with CD player, re-manufactured A/C unit, battery, wheels, tires, and miscellaneous parts were installed. There is less than 5000 miles on the rebuilt engine. The vehicle has been stored from mid-October to May and has only been driven on sunny weekends during the past 11 years. The car will come with a new Cordovan top, still in the box, and ready for installation, some extra glass (came from Florida with the car), and a car cover. Also comes with an AMES catalogue. Ames supplies GTO parts of very fine quality. This car has passed every state inspection and currently has it's 2 year Antique Inspection Sticker. If you like the sound of the 60s muscle cars, then you will love the sound of this engine. If you like turning heads everywhere you go, you will get engaged in conversations with this car.
