1959 Buick Invicta Convertible: My father passed away a year ago, the car was his and in the middle of being restored. He has owned the car for the past 20yrs. It sat outside the first 15yrs until he started to restore it. He said the engine and transmission are original and that the car had started during that time. Now the car does not run, drive, or stop. Almost all the outside body panels have been repaired or replaced. The left rear quarter still needs some body work. The rest of the car is very straight. There was rust in floor pans and trunk pan that he repaired with metal. The dash looks like it is in very good condition. The car appears to be complete less the front seat. It has all door panels front and rear, and rear seat. All the chromes are in shed and looks like everything is there, Not sure. This car is being sold as a project restoration. The trunk lid is rusted, he has a very nice trunk lid that goes with the car… Please look close at the pictures before you bid. All bidders are welcome to come by and inspect the vehicle before or during the bidding process. Windshield crackedFloors and trunk had rust and was semi repaired by 72 year old.Quarter glass on both sides are good.Door glass missing, could not find in shed..Front seat missing.All body chromes found and in good condition/not perfect.Engine, Trans, and brakes are unknown. But in the car...Convertible trim around windshield/ complete and good condition, in shed…All trim complete LT & RT SIDE. ALL CONVERTIBLE TRIM COMPLETE!!!!This would be a great car to restore.. The car did have power brakes, power steering, power top, and power windows..Top frame complete and on the car. (Buyer is responsible for transport.
