The good:Original 225 HIgh Output Slant Six "Leaning Tower of Power" runs greatOriginal automatic transmission drives fine.Thick folder of service and maintenance records. Original owners manualDocumentation indicates car has 146k miles.Original build sheetUpgraded to "Big Bolt" pattern all the way around.Upgraded to front disk brakesPosi rear spider gear lock out - both rear wheels spin. New DuPont "Hemi Orange" paint. Paint code is for the 2008 and up w/pearl. Trim, bumpers and front glass removed to paint. Including door jamsOriginal white vinyl roof removed. Original rust free sold floors and trunk pan.Undercarriage and trunk finished in epoxy satin black.New black carpet and jute padSplit bench front seatGood rubber with raised white letters 14" front rallye wheels, 15" rear rallye wheels. Includes rallye spare tire and jack. The not so good:Needs front windshield and headliner replaced.Needs some other minor things installed that are included: seat belts, rear interior door handles. Door weatherstrip. Needs Dart and Swinger emblems installedNeeds bumble bee rear stripe The opportunity:Includes a 1969 Dodge 340 CID engine that has rebuilt "X" heads with "big valves" ready to go. Cleaned up forged crank, rods, carriers , 340 block on a nice engine stand and and most parts to reassemble. No intake, water pump or timing cover. These 340's are getting harder and harder to find. You Mopar guys know what 69 "X" heads are worth alone. So basically the car is setup to drive as is or drop this small block in it. its setup with the upgraded drive train and disk brake conversion. Can be seen and inspected if your near Lehi, UT 20 miles south of Salt Lake City. Prefer pick up or you arrange transportation but can deliver on my car hauler if your in a 50 mile radius. On Mar-30-14 at 19:32:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting several questions about how it runs and drives. My son is going to make a short video of it starting, running and driving as soon as the weather clears up. I'm hoping it will be available tomorrow night via youtube link that we will post here. I also wanted to mention the red engine stand is included in the deal. On Mar-31-14 at 19:37:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Weather not cooperating but did get some video of it starting in the garage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9FwXqj5QcI&feature=youtu.beOn Apr-02-14 at 19:34:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Weather cooperated and got some more video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaYroCIdg9s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDnqkQPvnXA&feature=youtu.be On Apr-02-14 at 20:14:17 PDT, seller added the following information: In posting 24 pictures and 3 videos I have tried to disclose as much as I can about the car. In all fairness the new paint is what I call "driver quality" as opposed to " show quality". That being said when I pulled out the left over paint there is about a pint left that would reduce to a pint and a half of sprayable. It's also BASF Urethane Single Stage paint not Dupont. It is not perfect but there are no runs and it's a eye catcher from any distance. It's been cut and buffed and shines nice. There are a couple door dings that never got repaired. One on each door and one on the tail panel drivers side. Noticeable only in the right light. The big bolt pattern running gear and 8-1/4 rear axel came out if a 74 Dart Sport and has 3.55 gears. That work was done by the previous Mopar enthusiast as well as the spider gear posi lock I describe above. Thats means the spider gear has been welded so both wheels turn the same speed under load. Previous Mopar enthusiast had envisioned this car going out and racing people with a big block. Unfortunately the big block dream never happened for him. I don't have all the parts to put the 340 back together. I do have the important parts that all came from the same motor (heads, block and crank). Also included is the carrier bearings, power steering pump, fan and a bucket of misc parts. The block I was told had never been bored. It's not all scared up but does have some rust where some water sat in a couple of the cylinders. It probably needs to be cleaned up. I was going to buy a wore out 318 or 360 and use it for all the pulleys, brackets, etc. Good luck it will be a fun car for somebody that looks and sounds good. Drive it while you finish it.
