I am selling my 2002 Suzuki V-Strom DL1000 Adventure bike with 13,000 miles -- although this bike has very low miles for it's age, it was ridden regularly and kept lubricated, it does not leak anything and is in excellent shape! It has been serviced at Greater Boston Motorsports in Arlington, MA and each time I bring it in they comment that it looks like new. This bike has been adult ridden (I'm over 40) mainly for occasional commuting and has always been garage kept. The bike comes with a TON of extras and upgrades. First of all, it has a FULL SET of factory hard luggage that is branded VStrom and color matched to the bike. The luggage is co-branded "Kappa" which is made by GIVI. The top case will hold two full-face helmets. The luggage and associated racks were a $1,000+ option when new so it is rare to find and you cannot buy the matched luggage after market. Here is a list of upgrades and extras: 1) New Bridgestone Trailwing tires in 2012 2) Full set of hard sided matched luggage -- $1,000 3) Motech 1" bar riser (for comfort) -- $59 4) Aftermarket Centerstand (not a factory option) -- $250 5) MRA Tinted Sport Windshield (not mounted, pictured) -- $102.50 6) CeeBee Extra Tall Touring Windshield (pictured) -- $120.00 7) Sargent Seat (phenomenal comfort) -- $370 (As new factory seat included) Total add-on's excluding new tires: $1,900 !!!! So full set of luggage, expensive comfort upgrades, 2 seats and 2 windshields. I am 6' tall, if the touring windshield is too tall for you, you can mail it to CeeBee and they will cut it down for you for a nominal fee. In terms of issues, the bike has a couple small scratches on the right side of the fairing from being tied down on a trailer, and has some scuffs on the hand protectors. I included the scratches in the picture, you can only see them up close. This bike won a "bike of the year" award for 2002. I get a measured 36mpg using the RoadTrip app on my iPhone. Note: This bike is tall, you will want to have a 32" inseam to be comfortable. The Sargent seat is slightly lower than stock but it is still tall. If you want to have this bike shipped to you, I recommend using uship. I will work with the shipper on this end.
