For Sale: 1967 Mustang Fastback. Automatic, 302 engine, many other improvements. Not a 100-point show car, but an awesome daily driver. Have made a lot of comfort upgrades. This will be a car you want to drive every day, not just polish up for an occasional drive-in show. Not intended as a show car, but will still show well. This is not a Eleanor-clone, or a Bullitt-clone, or a Shelby-clone, etc. but your basic Fastback with a few custom features. So if you do decide to show it, it won't look exactly like all of the other Mustangs next to you. All upgrades are bolt-on kits, no cutting was done for anything except the seats (had to remove the seat platforms because these are taller than the original). So if you decide you want to go back to stock for something, should be a relatively easy process. Also have documentation for most of the purchases, so you'll know what's on there and where to get parts if you need them later. Solid straight body, all rust has been repaired. (Can't really call it a frame-off restoration since it's a unibody.) New glossy paint, with ghost flames on the hood and blacked-out moldings. Has bed liner sprayed on the interior, trunk, and undercarriage for both rust protection and sound-deadening. Has original automatic floor shifter, with boot for a manual shifter (thought that looked better with the console). New Interior with custom Leather seat covers and new floor console. Power Seats, from a 90s Mustang. 3-point retractable seat belts. Fold-down rear seat option. Rack and Pinion Steering. Power Steering. Power Brakes. Front Disc Brakes. Air Conditioning, not an under dash add-on unit. Integrated with original heater controls. Good new radio/speaker system (CD, MP3, etc.). New tires and wheels. P205/60R15 in front, P225/60R15 in back. Custom black mesh grille. Older motor (302) and transmission, but have been partially rebuilt. New wiring throughout. Needs new battery. Original gauges still work good except for oil pressure and gas. Oil gauge seems to stick sometimes. Gas gauge is either off, or I'm doing something wrong when I fill it up because gas will come backing out at 1/2 tank reading (might be filling it too fast). Re-used some of the old chrome like the bumpers, so not everything is fresh out-of-the- box show quality. Again, this is not intended to be a national show car. Also have some extra pieces that I may include if the price is right. Have a set of original bucket seats in pretty good condition, another old gauge cluster, and some other odds and ends. Also have two additional new tires for the back. Have tried to list all of the pluses and minuses that I can think of.
