You are bidding on a 2006 BMW 750li Owned by legendary musician Jimmy Buffett.I am an auto broker and wholesaler Located in central NJ. I acquired this vehicle via a high end dealer in Southampton NY who sold the car for the Buffett’s. The car was purchased new on 6/30/05 at Country Imports in Southampton, NY and titled to Jimmy Buffet’s wife Jane Slagsvol Buffett in Florida using their Palm Beach, FL address. The car was kept at their “Montawk Margaritaville” mansion.This beautiful BMW Flagship has been owned by the Buffett family since day one and spent its life in the Hamptons. I have the original title signed by Mrs. Buffett which will be forwarded to you as part of your purchase. I have tons of other documentation including the original Florida registration, renewal receipts, and service records all clearly indicating the provenance of the car. This is not some celebrity owned vehicle based on word of mouth stories or inaccurate or spotty documentation. I can fax or email copies of the accompanying documentation to prove this cars provenance.The car has been meticulously serviced at Country Imports as well as Orange County BMW in NY. All service records are in my possession and will be included. All original owner’s manuals, and books are also present and included in their leather folder. This BMW has never been involved in an accident, and has no paintwork. I have a copy of the perfectly clean carfax report I can also forward to interested parties. This beautiful BMW 750li has only traveled 72,432 miles in its pampered life.It is extremely well equipped with all of the luxury features you would expect in a car of this caliber.These features include:Navigation, power everything, front and park distance control, Upgraded optional Logic 7 Stereo, Bluetooth phone connection, Satellite Radio, power heated and cooled leather front seats with massage, Rear heated seats, xenon headlights, power opening and closing trunk and much more.The car runs and drives wonderfully. Tires have been replaced with the appropriate Goodyear Run flats by the BMW dealer and have more than 70% tread remaining.Overall the car is in very good condition. It runs and drives as it should, all the service is current. The seats and interior are nice, no rips or tears, just some slight wear on the driver’s seat as to be expected. Everything works, with the exception of the CD changer working intermittently. It works and plays CD’s but is finicky about ejecting the cartridge and gets stuck in the eject mode at times. It works maybe 50% of the time you press the button. This can be easily replaced with the modern ipod interface at any BMW dealer for about $400 including the cost of the new dash trim piece that does not have the CD changer door if the new owner prefers.The car has a few minor cosmetic flaws, as any used car would, There is a small scrape on the rear rocker panel underneath the rear passenger door, a tiny ding in the driver front fender – that has not damaged the paint, as well as a door ding on the driver rear door that has been touched up with touch up paint about the size of a pea. Please see the detailed pics. The windows are lightly tinted but it is a professional job. There is some prior indication that this car has been smoked in, but hey it’s Jimmy Buffett’s car – are you surprised?A brand new set of original BMW floor mats will be included in the trunk of this vehicle for the new owner to help make the interior look showroom fresh.So whether you are a Parrothead, A BMW enthusiast or both you will not be disappointed with this car. My reserve is thousands less than that because I am a wholesaler, who retails special vehicles occasionally to the public. This car is located at one of my facilities in Central NJ. All cars are sold AS-IS where is and buyer understands that there is no warranty expressed or implied.If you are an NJ resident, I have to collect the 7% sales tax, and stamp the title reassignment accordingly, you will not have to pay tax when you go to register / title the car at the NJMVC. If you are a resident of another state, you are responsible for all sales and local taxes due. I do not have to collect these. I can issue a 30 day resident temp tag, or a 20 day non-resident temp tag (it’s an odd quirk in NJ law) for an additional $50. There will be a $100 documentary fee attached to all sales which includes the title reassignment as well as overnight mail etc.I ship vehicles as a matter of routine.
