For your consideration is a 1978 Chevy Step side short bed. The truck needs an engine rebuild (LOW-END KNOCK) , it needs paint , it was rattle can painted one color so it could be insured. It needs a new exhaust system, and the top of the dash is cracked. the interior is not really bad but the carpet is torn, the seat is not to bad slightly torn but has a nice cover on it. the passenger side door has 2 minor dents that can be "Popped out" not bad. That is it with the bad stuff. It runs just very loud . This is what i did to it before the engine went bad, BTW it went bad when my brother in-law drove it around with low oil. (Dumb Ass). The tires have about 1500 miles on them, the rear bed was removed and i installed new wood and sealed the wood and applied a heavy coat of under coating, every bolt that is in the bed and attaching it to the frame is STAINLESS STEEL , you will never have to worry about rust. the tailgate is a reproduction. the entire frame and was painted with POR-15. The radio is the original AM - FM 8-Track , the radio works but the 8track is unknown. There is bondo on the truck and the back bottom corners have replacement body panels. the truck has no rust. The floor pans have been replaced but not welded. It has new brake hardware (calipers, pads, lines.) and It needs a battery. there are 2 spots on the cab bottom (see pic) that i did not repair the metal. minor job. It has been outside all winter and looks dirty at this time, these pictures were taken last summer, i drove it about 700 miles before letting my Brother in-law "borrow" it.
