* 1997 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 LT Diesel * Before you and up for bid is my 1997 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 LT, the particulars on the Suburban are as follows: * In 1997, this was as good as it gets, the top of the line trim level Suburban. * Ordered new as a lease purchase in Florida for the family nursery to service clients in southern GA. and Florida * Purchased off lease in 2000 for private use, it remained in Florida until 2012 when it was brought up to Colorado with the intention for family & friends to utilize it when visiting. * A garaged & pampered, non-smoker, no pets, no kids, no food or beverages vehicle. * CARFAX certified (in hand) NO ACCIDENT history, ownership & mileage. * Guaranteed to be ZERO RUST! The Suburban has never been driven in winter conditions, and therefore it has never been subjected to salt or corrosive agents. see the pic of beneath one door * Low miles, it just turned 171K on a trip to Albuquerque. * Always garaged when not in use, it has been meticulously maintained w/ALL service records from day one present. * The truck is in absolutely immaculate condition throughout. From bumper to bumper, the entire condition is a testimony to the care that has been provided. It's not that it's clean, it has never been allowed to get dirty. The interior rates a 9.5 out of 10! * Beautiful Arctic white paint with black accents (95% original), see the pics that illustrate the mirror reflection, over a beautiful dove gray interior. * 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine, runs superbly, there are absolutely NO annoying drips or leaks anywhere! * Completely factory stock engine, no chips, mapping, intakes, exhaust, etc. Many insist on the performance capability & potential of these engines, I prefer to leave things as they were designed. * The common fuel pump issue that these engines are known for, was resolved after the second GM replacement. The existing pump is a lifetime replacement. * K2500, (4WD) 3/4 ton. Comfortable & safety minded, this 8 passenger SUV is ideally suited for daily family transportation, or as a purposeful vehicle for towing your boat or camper. Whatever your needs, the K2500 is fully capable and extremely reliable. It has never let us down. * Automatic transmission, smooth transitions through all upshifts and into reverse. (rebuilt in 2004, documented) * Electronic 4WD, works perfectly! * All gauges and function monitor indicators are fully functional, there are no erratic needles. * Heavy duty 4:10 rear. After noticing that the rear pinion seal was leaking for a second time, I had the rear end completely rebuilt including the limited slip, (Eaton posi) in 2013. ($2400.00, documented) * Heavy duty tow package rated @7500-9000 lb. towing capacity, Tekonsha electric brake controller. * LT trim level consists of: * Full leather interior in great shape, the driver seat is showing only the slight wear * Leather steering wheel * 8 passenger capacity, front captains chairs, (8-way driver) 60/40 split folding center bench, removable rear bench. * Power windows, all fully operational from the driver side control as well as the individual points, smooth operation...no slow mo'. * Power locks, fully operational, central button also inside rear area. * Power mirrors, these were removed to install the extended mirrors that you see in order to safely tow an airboat. The wiring connectors are all intact, however the garage location whereabouts of the mirrors, is unknown. * Cruise control, fully operational * Leather wrapped steering wheel, tilt feature * ICE COLD AC, front & rear, new in 2009. * Premium AM/FM/Cassette with single CD stereo, sounds great! * Michelin LTX tires with 50% tread wear remaining, these were purchased as a set. The spare is new, it has never been on the ground. The bottle jack and tire tool are in the stow away compartment, it also has never been used. * Chevrolet wheels, there is no curb rash, pits, or discoloration. * Dual airbags, four wheel ABS * Excellent carpet throughout with GM mats between the rows. The rear cargo area has a hard plastic protector. (office chair mat) * Excellent headliner, (see pic) * Overhead console, rear mirror compass display * All 4 door panels are very nice, the left passenger panel has two small nicks. In the interest of conserving pictures, I included pics of the two front doors, assuredly the rear and barn doors are all equally as nice. * All weather stripping and door gaskets are soft & pliable. * Solar Ray privacy glass throughout w/new 3M metal base graphite color tint. * Newer windshield, it has had two small chips epoxy resin repaired. * Dash Mat dash protector * Extra's include the hood guard and the roof visor, both by LUND. * 40 gallon fuel tank, the truck has a 600 mile distance range. * All owners manuals, supplemental operation pamphlets and 3 keys are included. * All safety features, wipers, directionals, lights, horn, emergency flashers, etc., are fully operational. * Electrically EVERYTHING...is fully operational! * Excellent chrome bumpers, no pits. * Roof cargo rack In advance of the sale, the following documented maintenance has been recently performed: * New upper & lower Gates hoses and serpentine belt * Brake service consisting of two new BOSCH front rotors, new pads all around, and a system flush. * New Alternator * New Premium Radiator, new Dex-Cool * New Water Pump * Gates Idler Pulley * Harmonic balancer & pulley * Oil cooler lines * Replaced thermostats, temperature sender, injector driver module & o-rings * Tire balance, four wheel alignment * 2 New CCA batteries * Fresh fluids & filters, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, K&N air filter, power steering fluid, transmission flush, the diff fluids were done during the rebuild of the rear end. * A new hood insulator was ordered, it had not arrived prior to the photographs being taken, it will be installed. If you have been searching for an excellent example of one of these K2500 diesel Suburbans, you know it has not been an easy vehicle to source. You also know that these trucks are rare, with 1999 being the last year of production for both Chevy & GMC. I am extremely particular about my vehicles, and the care that they receive. When one takes care of their belongings, they tend to last. The minimal use that the truck has seen over the last 5 years, does not warrant keeping it further. The Suburban is beautiful, and in remarkable condition. It looks, runs, and drives great! It is a genuine no compromises example. The Suburban drives down the road effortlessly, handles well, and stops assuredly, it is very comfortable truck. It is the best large SUV for maneuverability, that I have ever owned.
