So here is the deal with this car, my husband is in the Army and we got orders overseas to Korea, where I cannot have a car. That is the only reason I am selling it. I don’t want to put it in Army storage for 24 to 36 months. Next, this car has about 157,000 miles (we still drive it). I will say my last Lexus ran to about 260K until we wanted this one. Since we have owned this car we have kept up on the maintenance (oil changes, new belts (130K), spark plugs, filters, tires, brakes and those sort of things). The tires have about 2K miles on them and are top end Michelin tires. They ride very good! Now the driver’s side head light is dingy. We have bought a new one, which is included in the purchase, but the new buyer will need to install it ($100 at sears or $150 at lexus). The Wind shield is cracked and needs to be replaced. It costs $300.00, out the door. I just did that last week and if you want it fixed, we can have it fixed for an additional $300.00. There are chips and nicks in the paint, but still a very clean ride. I am not embarrassed to drive it! Now I have a 5 year old who has an ipad, but when we take trips we leave the ipad at home. This Lexus comes with a rear seat DVD player with wireless headphones (not some cheap aftermarket, the real deal). When we take off, we gas up and hit a red box…. When the movie is done… we stop and snack and get a new movie at a new red box. One movie at a time, for the last few years this has enabled us to make many long trips. Plus you don't have to worry about the sound you would have to hear while driving if a iPad was used, or worry about crazy lights from an ipad at dark. Likewise, wireless is safe for kids. The other cool options: touch lift gate, Bluetooth, a 210-watt, 11-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system, DVD-based navigation system with backup camera, rear seat DVD player with wireless headphones, and sunroof. I updated the navigation in 2013. One thing I do like about Lexus is the navigation is touch screen, which in Audi it is not. It also has sound that reduces the sound on your radio at talk to you while navigating, and then turns the sound back up. Much nicer than my iPhone. I took enough pictures to get this listed.
