Vehicle Detail
Need to sell due to health reasons The following is a list of new stuff. If not listed, most likely original . THERE IS NO MANUAL BOOK ON THIS VEHICLE AND A SOLID UNDERSTANDING ON MECHANICS IS A MUST…….I WILL INCLUDE THE RECIEPTS, (MANY AND PRICEY), CONST. PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS AS I CAN FIND . IT IS NEW RAT, BUT NOT SHOW QUALITY. New stuff: Ft bumper, Bumper pan, grille, running and headlights and buckets. New front fenders, inner and out, chrome hood strip, Chevy emblem and hood hinges. Walker radiator and electric fan. Disk brake conversion and cpp power brake with booster and power steering. CAB: NEW firewall, floor pan, mirrors, side cowl panels. The door handles and lock assembly have been converted to the later push button style. Also new windows and regulators. Also, the cab corners have been replaced. INTERIOR – new door panels, and handles. Dash – New-gauges, glove box and dash panel. Headliner new but needs adjusted. Also, dome light new SOUND: new front speakers, Panasonic radio, kicker amp and subs under the seat. New wiring fuse block and cut off switch. Seat is covered – needs to be tightened, new jute. The seat springs on the driver’s side needs replacement, a bit saggy. Rubber floor also new as well as all rubber gaskets. Wipers are new electric. BED - New bulkhead, floor supports and tailgate hinges. Rear lights are LED. Also new rear bumper, roll pan push bars. ENGINE is 350 JEGS crate, Trans, a 350 turbo auto with lokar shifter. THINGS that could be better – steering pitman arm needs to be centered and the hood has new hinges, but when tightened, the hood kicks up in the rear. Also, the chassis has been repaired under the passenger side, a crack on top of the rail has been welded and backed up with angle iron and bolted. There are rust holes under the radiator support and I have a rust free replacement, still very strong Also, the flat black paint has some variance, sun I suppose, I have done car shows consistently 2 to 3 a month since I did the paint. It has always been garage kept. The new headliner and stock doors need to be readjusted, hinges are new. Bright indicator is not hooked up. I am sure I may have missed a few things, but it is 65 years old….
