Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very nice un-restored 1969 Honda Z50A K1 Silver Tag. This is the one I have been saving for myself. I had planned on just changing the handle bars and rebuilding the carburetor to make it a nice usable fun bike. This little bike is too nice to restore but not really nice enough to be considered what I would call a Survivor. The serial number is: Z50A-1181710 The engine number is: Z50AE-180634 The seat cover is a reproduction but the pan is original and nice. It is missing the headlamp rubber plug, the seat bolts, the tank cushion and strap and the air cleaner assembly. The fuel petcock is a later model one and it also leaks. The bike runs but fuel leaks out of the carb drain as fast as the bowl fills up so a rebuild is in order. The fuel tank is dented and has some scale inside but it does not leak. There is no spark plug wrench. Everything else is correct and original to the bike. The grips and cables are correct. The tires are the original Bridgestone’s with double nut valve stems. The dents in the tank should be obvious in the photos. The key switch is the original. The muffler is the original and it is clean and straight. The frame is clean with no repairs. The bent foot pegs should also be obvious in the photos. I usually list all of my auctions at no reserve but I cannot do that here. The reserve is fair. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time with no advance notice. If you have any questions please send them, I do not check my email daily so please be patient. There is no title so a bill of sale will be included. This item is sold AS IS WHERE IS with no warranties given or implied. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will disassemble the bike for multiple box shipping via UPS or Fed Ex. There will be a flat fee of $175.00 to cover shipping and handling.
