I'm selling this for a friend. 1988 dodge lancer Shelby. These are NOT the 1 of 1500 Shelby lancers (that was 1987) but in 88 and 89 Chrysler put out the lancer Shelby. Basically the same car (2.2 intercooled t-2) but these are even more rare as the production number for the 1988 is 1 of 217 The car is 100% rust free, spending most of it's life in a garage in AZ. Later bought by my friend and brought to Texas. Is was a weekend car for him, but then turned into a daily driver for a while. My friend has since had another kid, found a family friendly Volvo and now it's time for this gem to go to a new home. Car has 92,000 miles on it, in excellent shape. Original paint looks great but has some chips and a couple of scratches for a 25 year old car. the motor was just rebuilt with new pistons, clevite 77 tri-metal bearings, new melling oil pump, arp rod bolts on t-2 HD rods, all new gaskets. New turbo and clutch was also added. No mods on the car with the exception of a 3" exhaust, and short throw shifter. Car is factory intercooled and comes with a 5 speed manual transmission. Leather interior is in GREAT condition, the worst is the drivers seat and that looks good as shown in the photos, Shelby boost gauge. Underside is very clean. Also comes with 4 srt-4 17" wheels in excellent condition (no curb rash, look new) and falken tiores with good tread. All glass is good, windshield is uncracked/chipped. Upgraded wagner glass halogen headlights, and has the glass factory fog lights. New rear hatch struts.
