1962 CADILLAC SEDAN ! ! ! Very clean and well kept for a 52 year old car. The car has 80,000 miles, original and untouched. Runs and drives, 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly, has minor lifter noises at the motor, and pretty much what you would expect an untouched car of this age and mileage to be… The engine has full power and starts right up in cold weather. Tires have 50% or more tread, brakes seem o.k, does not smoke or burn oil. The interior is really beautiful for its age, with new carpet kit installed not long ago. All power windows work, and all glass is in good condition. Power seat works fine. The door seals, window and glass weatherstrips are all original in good condition and not rotted out. Dash and interior lights all work with one bulb out on the headlight knob. The wonder-bar radio works good, and the power antenna works smoothly. The headlamps and signal bulbs have all been replaced. The car was painted some 15 years ago, and the floorboards, rocker panels, trunk pan and quarter panels are all solid with no rust through. The paint still shows a nice shine, but a few paint bubbles have formed here and there on the lower panels and edges in the usual places. The bubbles do not appear to be rust through, but at the very worst pin holes. The only prior body work I’ve noticed on the entire car is to the front corner of the right fender. Overall this is a nice untouched driver that needs some TLC, and is a great candidate for restoration. The ‘Buy it Now’ price also includes $1,000 dollars in good condition spare parts that I purchased overtime. These parts include a complete rear bumper assembly, front left bumper corner assembly, center and lower grill trim pieces, and 3 lower side molding stainless trim pieces.
