1954 Mercury Monterey Hotrod 2-Door Post!.....$6,500 I am selling my dads Mercury for him so here is what I can tell you about it. I think this is a great start for a project car & daily driver, a 54 Mercury Monterey 2-Door! Was a driving, running car before it was parked and we moved Dad to the mountains to retire. Not a driver today without a little work! Has been parked now for a couple of years, and dad doesn't see well enough to drive any more so he wants me to sell it. A couple of days of checking stuff out, fixing a few things that I see and your running again! I am fixing things as I get time also so it may become driveable very soon. Small block 350 Chevy V-8, turbo 350 automatic transmission, chrome wheels & tires and interior has already been done and is a older conversion. Motor runs great, have to change starter and dad has already bought a new one, glass, seats, & headliner look good, interior trim & carpet needs to be freshened up again and you can be cruising daily as you build your Hot Rod Merc! Body looks straight, has a little rust by the rear skirts, only bad area of rust I see, has bad hood hinges that I don't know how to fix, damaged headlight ring, otherwise pretty easy prep work for body and paint! Frame has not been hacked up and the underside looks stock. Stock floor in car, good clean body to build from. Clean title and current registration with a non-op!
