For sale is my Classic 1977 BMW 530I that has no rust and is in excellent condition! Just entering this information brings tears to my eyes because I love this car and have always said I would never sell it. But unforeseen issues come up in life that are more important. So with that said, you are bidding on one of the cleanest original 77 BMW's that has enormous potential. Always kept in the garage and has never seen a Michigan winter. The exterior and interior are in beautiful condition except for a small "L" shaped tear in the rear passenger side seat about the size of a dime.($60 repair) Also the head liner is a bit discolored, needs repair, near the drivers side rear window . The rest of the head liner is in great condition. The dash has two minor repairable cracks but in great condition. All of the electronics, instrument panel, lights, even the clock work on this car except the temp gauge, which was redirected and mounted under the hood. The exterior is beautiful but does have some nicks on the car that are not major at all. The nick shown in the picture on the body is the worst one which is still minor. When opening the hood there is one very minor spot of surface rust but truly only on the surface and nothing significant. I don't believe the paint is original but very nice. My plan was to have the nicks serviced and the exterior repainted. Does not have the original radio. Driver side window handle needs to be re-attached. The engine needs a tune up but is exceptionally strong with tons of power. The transmission shifts smooth in all gears but may need some minor maintenance. I mainly cruised in this car never driving too fast or often and have never drove on the freeway, but rides really smooth and solid. The engine or transmission has absolutely no leaks and the engine burns no oil. You can let this car run all night and it will never overheat. No "service engine" lights on this baby! The undercarriage is in excellent condition and has never seen salt, snow, or even rain. It has BMW rims that are in great shape and the tires are almost new. This is an older classic so it takes a few tries in the morning before starting but once the engine is warm it runs awesome! This beauty has 54,713 original miles and it shows! The windows are in perfect condition with no cracks of any kind. The car has been in the garage for over a year because of the rainy summer we had last year and this miserable winter we're having. Will need TLC to make it a show piece. I try to list everything I can possibly think of so if I forgot something it's not intentional because I want to be honest in my listings. Therefore if a buyer has any questions I would be more than happy to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Again, the car has been sitting for over a year so I'm sure some maintenance is needed. I have the certification of lien sale from the original seller and will provide a bill of sale that is excepted at any DMV. PLEASE BID WITH THE FULL INTENT OF BUYING THIS CAR!
