The bike has been well maintained as required by long distance riders (they love the road and don’t want to break out anywhere). The only way to get these miles in this condition is through proper maintenance. The bike is not perfect but has no dents or scratches other than very minor. The bike is indeed in showroom condition but is not a complete frame-up restoration. The bike is a daily driver in absolutely exceptional condition and not a trailer queen. Has no indication whatsoever of being crashed or left out in the sun but rather garaged and covered in a consistent manner. It has Koni rear shocks, brown side stand, recent battery, panniers with locks and keys, good tires, new front brakes including master cylinder piston, caliper seals and pads, carburetors rebuilt and balanced as well as recent complete service including valve adjustment and all fluids. Gas tank looks very good inside and out; no dents, no rust around the petcocks, etc. Starts, shifts, and drives very good. I don’t have documentation of the repairs/upgrades but 1) information comes from previous owner and is deemed as knowledgeable and reliable source and 2) I have owned and worked on airheads since 1985 and there is no doubt in my mind, from what I see and by driving it, that all described above per previous owner, is correct. The bike can be inspected in Sarasota, FL upon request. The odometer is slowly increasing as I drive it around the block to keep it up. Has triple matching frame and engine numbers. The rear fender and the instrument cluster plastics have some imperfections as shown on pictures. I feel confident to ride this airhead anywhere.
