This car was just removed from 15 years of dry storage 1955 Desoto Fireflite Sportsman Coupe One of 10,313 Built Powered by a 291 CID 200 HP Hemi Engine Powerflite Automatic Transmission with a dash mounted shifter Code 350 Emberglow Pink and Code 355 Surf White Exterior Pink White and Black Interior Power Steering and Manual Brakes and AM Radio 77,000 Original Miles The body is extremely solid as is the underside , Has spent most of the last 40 years stored in a garage The paint was done over 30 + years ago and has its share of wear and blemishes The underside is very clean , Floors ,Frame ,Rockers and spare tire well are in great shape . There are some holes in the left and right wheel houses . All the trim is is fair as is the bumpers . There is some trim missing such as LH Head Lamp Bezel and some Grille Trim The Trunk compartment is in good shape , and includes the spare tire and jack as seen in pictures The Interior is all original as seen , Could use a thorough cleaning . Has a excellent steering wheel , Horn Ring and dash . All the gauges and the radio are all working The Fuel system was just gone over , The tank was professionally hot tanked and cleaned . The fuel pump was replaced The Brake system has just had all the hydraulics replaced All the belts and hoses and fluids have been replaced as was the battery The car runs and drives (locally) Has been driven aprox 50 miles.
