Up for auction is a three owner 1988 Lincoln Towncar. I know all the history on this car back to its original purchase date in Feb of 1987. This was my friends fathers Lincoln. This car was babied its entire life. It features a 5.0 V8 which was just recently tuned up, and has an AOD transmission which shifts perfectly. It was an Arizona car for much of its life and drove to Florida in September of last year. The car is fully loaded. The car is white on blue fabric. The car was recently painted a fresh coat of white as the original paint was dulling. The car has ice cold air, power windows,locks, and rear truck release. It is an automatic as stated above. All the chrome is original and in great shape. There are wire wheel hubcaps on all the tires, as well as two extra wire wheel caps in the trunk. The interior is in great shape with the exeception of drivers door armrest as it is cracked, but all seating surfaces are in great shape with no rips or tears, and all the windows are tinted. In the picture of the car from the front it appears that there are stains on the concrete. They are not from the car I just pulled it into that space. On Jan-12-14 at 18:37:18 PST, seller added the following information: The mileage listed inn the auction is the mileage listed on the title as actual mileage. The mileage on the title when I registered it was 78000 and then some. The car now listed 87000 on the odometer. Apparently it might be 187000. On Jan-12-14 at 18:57:13 PST, seller added the following information: I went through this entire car including having the engine gone through a replacement transmission, all new paint, and the airconditioning was replaced prior to me getting the car. There is also a new radiator in the car. This is a great car I just have to many projects and need to sell some off. There was also a replacement extension pipe and muffler on the car.
