Vehicle Detail

Gorgeous 29 year-old Euro model in the prime of her life. 187,000 speedometer miles, but only 21,000 miles on total engine rebuild by Motor Meister of Downey, California, and 900 miles on rebuilt transmission (temporarily shifts a little stiff because of new synchros). Since the rebuild, she has lived on nothing but Shell Vtec premium and Mobil 1 synthetic. Blazing red finish with black top and interior. 80% left on Goodyear Eagles GTs, new top and paint in 2008 (no accident, just a facelift). No leaks; no rust (galvanized steel); doesn’t smoke (neither do I). Recently changed to turbo tie-rods for quicker response and better handling, and just replaced the entire fuel line harness ($1200). Daily driver doesn’t show her age in looks or performance, but, being 29 years-old, she does have a few idiosyncrasies. Interior light is out; power driver seat doesn’t recline; heater and defroster work great, but AC doesn’t hold coolant (didn’t when I bought it and I’ve never felt the need); brights work fine, but indicator light on dash doesn’t; clock sometimes has to be reset after car sets a day or two; tachometer will occasionally "play dead" or "bounce" for a minute or two when starting out, before settling in and operating perfectly; cigarette lighter has power to the socket and works great for plug-ins (GPS, etc), but you have to hold the lighter in for a long time to get it hot. It would be a shame to smoke in this beauty anyway. I haven’t found these things to be a problem, but, if they are a deal breaker for you, you’re going to miss out on owning and enjoying a great classic, fun-to-drive performance automobile with class and character that draws second looks, approving nods, thumbs-up, and “nice car” comments wherever you go. Two owner manuals, one in English, one in German. Also has tonneau cover and car cover. Come see it, drive it, you’ll love it! VIN WP0ZZZ91ZFS151472
