Vehicle Detail
Greetings! I purchased this car for $10K about a year and a half ago as a weekend driver, and have completed a lot of upgrades to it since then. Between a deployment and a long commute to work, I just havent had the time/desire to get it out like I thought I would so it is time to let her go. I bought the car from a friend, who bought it from his cousin and it has been METICULOUSLY cared for it's entire life. The t-tops are leak free, the dash is flawless and this car HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. The mileage on the dash states 119K, but this is actually more than is on the motor. When the 4.10 rear differential was installed, the car was not dyno'ed to correct for the modification until after about 2 years when my friend bought it. The mileage at the time when I purchased it was estimated to be about 100K and I have only put 4K miles on it in the year and a half that I have owned it. Anyone who is familiar with the LS motors know that it is very common for these engines to run STRONG well into 200K miles. A recent dyno and compression test (paperwork results included) prove this car has tons of life left in her. These are plenty powerful for the vehicle and sound great. Flaws:To be expected, there are tears in the stitching on the drivers and passenger's side. General wear and tear from a vehicle of this year. The check engine light is on, and the code is saying the one knock sensor needs replaced. I was skeptical of this since it is not a common code for something to just go wrong but I went and had new plugs, wires, O2 sensors and a compression test -ompleted at one of the best diagnosticians around. The compression test (included) shows 170-180 PSI on all cylinders so it's obviously very healthy. The car still runs flawlessly, but eventually this should get fixed. The part is pretty inexpensive if you can do it yourself but will run you about $350 if you need to pay someone else. I have a clear title in hand, and reserve the right to end the sale since the car is also for sale locally. I am not desperate to part ways with this vehicle and realize the asking price is above what you will find on Kelley Blue Book. If that's what you are worried about, then go find a nice, stock vehicle that falls into that range for you. This car is not stock and I will not price it as such, offers below 5 figures will not even warrant a response. The dyno sheet will be attached later since I left it in the office but it shows about 332 hp to the wheels and around 356 lb. ft. This is over 400hp to the crank which is very good for a purely bolt-on SS- test was also performed with the cutout closed off, so slightly higher number can be expected with the flip of a switch. If you wish to cam it and add some heads I am sure you can put out some really impressive numbers. Neither the previous owner or myself have taken it to the track but estimate it to be in the upper 12's. No joy rides will be allowed if you show up without full or hefty initial payment in hand. My name is Joe and I can be reached at 717-830-6821 call or text. I cannot use my phone at work during the week so leave a voicemail or send a text and I will get back to you when I can. **UPDATE** The dyno sheet is in pdf form and I am unable to attach it as a picture, but if you are interested in viewing it, let me know and I can email it to you.
