Up for auction is my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado LT Extended Cab modified pickup truck. This truck has the Z71 suspension package, off road package, as well as the extra GM tow package. My dad originally purchased this truck brand new in 2003 and sold it to me in 2008. My dad had all the oil changes and recommended vehicle maintenance completed at a GM certified dealership. I drove the truck for one summer before deciding to lift it that winter. After finishing the lift 3 years ago, the truck was only driven in the summer and was stored in the winter. The truck has 6,000 miles on the new build. The truck has a 6 inch BDS suspension lift with the rear leaf suspension option (replaces full rear leaf spring set instead of reusing old leaf springs and blocks). Had Zumbrota Bearing & Gear change the front and rear gears to 4.88's to run 35 inch tires on 20 inch rims and stay in good power range for the street. Used a Superchip programmer (comes with truck) to set power levels and speedometer to match the tire size and gear ratio. Went through the entire front end and replaced axels as well as used new Moog steering components (professionally aligned). Replaced standard battery with an Optima battery. The exhaust has also been replaced with a custom Flowmaster system that is louder than the original. Overall, I have invested $26,000 in the truck. Due to the aggressive tread pattern on the tires, at extremely slow speeds (3-5mph) when breaking the ABS breaks turn on momentarily. All that I did to resolve this issue is unplug the front sensors which fixes breaking problem, however it does turn the ABS light on the dash. Something as simple as changing the tires to a less aggressive pattern such as an all terrain tire would be another fix. If you are going to run the truck in the winter, I also have a set of winter tires and rims that come with the truck. The body, as well as the interior of the truck are in great condition. Small amount of rust on the rocker panels, otherwise the truck is completely clean, including black frame. There is a very small tear in the drivers seat just above the power seat controls, this can be seen in one of the pictures. I would have the truck professionally detailed every year before putting it away for the winter.
