This Sprite is a restoration project. The firm reserve price is well under $2000. It is nearly all original and belonged to a customer who also became a friend. I serviced it in my (at first regular repair and later restoration) shop from the time it went off warranty in 1964 until she stopped driving it about nine years ago. It IS a one owner car It was usually parked outside in her driveway in Millbrae CA as her rental house did not include garage privileges. The car is sound, has had only minor dents during its life and was running fine when parked. It has a little fender seam rust and condensation rust in the front of the hood and back of trunk lid which both should be replaced. I have seen these parts on eBay for $100 each and even less. It is a very early 1098cc (engine # 811) engined car, has a good ribcase transmission, one later tail light, and has front disc brakes. Eminently restorable. On the lift, inspection shows the floors and understructure are completely rust-free She gave it to me (signed title but did not report sale) and I plan to split $$ with her. It was last registered in 2004. I can sell you my factory workshop manual from my shop library if you are going to DiY. I've been asked by a California prospective buyer whether there is a non-op. I can't find evidence either way in the file folder with service records. Black plate California car with 2004 sticker. I can deliver the Sprite within 20 miles of Interstate 80 anywhere from San Francisco to Harrisburg PA for $400.- If to any other location, shipping arrangements are up to the buyer.
