Vehicle Detail
Selling my 325is after 11 years of ownership, mostly as a daily driver, recently got a newer car. I have almost all the maintenance receipts over those 11years. Great opportunity as a track car, parts car, daily driver, or project car. Parts on this car alone have a value of approximately $6-7k due to increasing scarcity of these cars. The car continues to be regularly driven, taking at times 30-40 mile trips. Runs very well, in decent mechanical condition. All original paint, in very good condition. Over $2,500 in maintenance done over the past 2.5 years including timing belt, water pump, new muffler/pipe, original catalytic converter from a 100k mile parts car, new battery, and more. I am the third owner, although second owner owned for only a couple months. The odometer stopped a few years ago at 160k miles. I haven't put too many miles on the car since, I estimate the current mileage to be about 185k. No engine work done on car, other than regular maintenance, since it hasn't needed it. No cracks at all in the dashboard. Drivers seat has some wear, tears, as seen in photos. Heater does not work, most likely just the heater core needs to be replaced, no missing heating parts. A/C does not work either, not positive why, could just be the compressor clutch, there should be no missing A/C parts. Radio stopped working when the mast broke, should just be the mast needs to be replaced, I have the extra parts to do that. Onboard computer fully functional. Recent accident damaged driver door and rear panel as seen in photos. Car title is clean, no salvage or other type of title. The frame is ok. Door still opens, closes, and locks. This door automatic window still operates as well. Passenger window hasn't been able to roll down for just a couple month's now, may not be a bad fix. Driver side front panel has a fist size dent as seen in photo. Some rusting on the passenger side jack lifting area as seen in photo. Rear trunk seals or seams, let in some water when it rains hard. Some rusting in this area also, not too bad. I bought the car in North Carolina where it was for the first 15 years, no other significant rusting other than just mentioned, that I have seen. The roof panel does not retract fully in, but still tilts up some. All four tires match with very good tread depth. Includes full size original spare wheel mounted with tire. Includes original car jack, tool for wheel cap removal, and some of the truck lid tools and tool case. Minor mods include Bilstein sport shocks, H&R sport springs, and Jim Conforti performance chip installed (original chip also included), and m3 sport seats. Car is completely stock otherwise which includes the sport airdam and rear spoiler. Cash in person and/ or Paypal purchase only. Listing is for pickup by buyer in Columbia, MD, if a potential other arrangement such as shipping is desired, please contact me at least 48 hrs. before bidding ends for possible agreed general arrangement at additional cost to buyer. Car being sold as is, no warranty, no returns. Car available to be shown in person in Columbia, MD, just email me to make arrangements. Car made in West Germany, great piece of automotive history! Very fun car to drive, great handeling! Car has been autocrossed a few times (with different set of tires), very fun for this, but has not been on the track. Fuel gauge, speedometer, tachometer, and temperature gauge all work. The temp gauge sometimes jumps around, I think the little screws just need to be tightened. Car starts, shifts, steers, and brakes well. No unusual smoking from engine or exhaust. Accelerates up to redline very smoothly.
