Hello! We are re-listing this with the required down payment because a recent ebayer never showed up or contacted us back so pls ask any questions you may have! Thank you! Here is a great Subaru Outback Legacy with only 95K miles that’s been loved by ONE family (3 owners). Used for our summer and winter house commutes along with some work commutes (all highway) It’s been great to us but we newer addition to our Subaru collection. Even though we are told this one will last forever with some work-we are just not willing. These are the issues and recommendations from the Subaru guys and our regular mechanics. We just don’t want to invest in the labor costs right now: *We replaced the rear differential 9 months ago, but there is some occasional noise in rear (possible cv joints?). *There was exhaust noise a few months ago so I had it welded (temporarily). I assume it will need another weld (or self tapping screws?) or simply replaced because noise is back. *Will probably need tires soon. *Car is recently mis-firing a bit on and off (oil leak) so it needs valve cover gaskets (with other maintenance recommendations, see below) *I think its almost time for the 105k mile timing belt /tune up-so it was suggested (by friends that had it done) to have mechanic get the valve cover gaskets and any other reg maintenance things done while engine is out of car, to save a ton of money on labor costs. Its basically a great deal if you have the skills or a mechanic buddy;) There are small dings here and there and cosmetic wear with age. The biggest dings were made about 10 yrs ago by trying to park in between two cars in a lot as one car was pulling out. Damage was on driver side door area (SEE PIC). NO body work was ever done on car …which is pretty obvious ;) Frame is fine.These days the car still runs pretty darn good on the highway. I'm sure it would make a decent trip home with you, but no guarantees for an extremely long drive ~ exhaust is loud ( but that's just my opinion) . I haven’t taken it very far these days- but we still take it to town and go shopping with it ;)!! Also , the right front axle replaced about 8 months ago :) Interior is in good -clean shape, new mats great radio/cd system, keyless alarm which I have currently disabled (but can be enabled) Power window locks and windows work fine, although SOMETIMES driver side door lock has to be manually locked. . ABS AWD Dual airbags Great on gas!Clean title and carfax! Please read this all thoroughly and ask ALL questions and for more pics if needed BEFORE bidding. Car is sold AS IS -WHERE IT IS.
