Vehicle Detail

Dam this winter came early! And I have no where to store my 850, so I guess we'll see if we can find it a better home. I bought my dream car two years ago from the Copart auction in Los Angeles. I live in Green Bay, so it was just based on pictures and no description. It was a 'Rebuilt Salvage' Car originally from Alabama. Apparently California doesn't recognize other states 'Rebuilt Status' so it came to me with a Salvage title and I had to have it Wisconsin Inspected, which we did no problem. So currently it is licensed as rebuilt salvage. Check your states laws, but CA would require their own inspection, again... Currently it has a Check Engine light that comes and goes and a clutch that will need replacing soon. The clutch releases with the pedal all the way 'up' and if it was a mechanical linkage I would adjust it a little looser, but alas it's Hydraulic and not adjustable as far as I can tell. If you try for a 'quarter mile blast' sometimes it'll slip when you hit 3rd, other times it'll hold tight and you can run it up over 100 MPH no problem. Drive it like an adult and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it to Texas tomorrow, but it will need a clutch soon. My plans are to put a Clutch in and a set of Syncros in the trans (2nd gear isn't as smooth as it could be), but that won't be happening before spring for me. Anyways to sum it up, there are nicer examples out there, and plenty of 850's with Automatics. If you want a 6 Speed car (They always say less than 10% came manual, so about 300 of them), but don't want to spend 10K or better this might be for you. I'm tore up about selling it, took me forever to get it, but before I park it for the long Wisconsin winter I thought I'd try and find it a better home... Email me for my reserve My zip code is 54227 if you need to figure shipping, obviously your responsibility. I can be available almost anytime to meet your shipper, or show you the car if you want to come see it before the auction ends ALso if you want to investigate flights, Green Bay is closest, Milwaukee is more popular and not too far, arrangements COULD be made to pick someone up. and finally, I do have a Wisconsin Dealers License, but I'm not what you would expect for a car dealer, no colored flags flying, no sales people, no financing. I just have a bad car habit, I maybe sell 7-10 cars a year to Friends and Family, mostly I use the license for the dealer tags, and the ability to slap a plate on whatever I want to drive! What that really means to you is if you are a WI resident I have to charge you sales tax and registration fees. If you are from out of state I can hand you the title (signed and filled out in your name) and you are responsible for fees at home. Thanks for looking, Matt On Track Auto (920) 755-2852
