Vehicle Detail

**Update** Just purchased a race car and need to sell this to make room in my garage. **NO RESERVE!!!** (Also, for those who have asked. The engine is a 2187cc stroker and runs great with or without the turbo kit.) Up for sale is a Meyers Manx style dune buggy with a well-built, extremely fast Turbo Stoker motor. Type 1 shortened pan, even has wipers, swing arm trans-axle, custom gauges (EGT, Boost, Oil Pressure), custom dash, racing seats, grant steering wheel, converted to use alternator, hi-performance alternator, deep-sump oil pan, roller pedal, hi-performance fuel pump, custom rear console controls for easy tuning (adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 2- DC12v power outlets, air suspension, boost controller), custom lights, and the list goes on. It is legally registered, and titled, insured, and is driven on the street. Motor has roughly 160 miles on it. The engine is a completely fresh build and was built by a professional performance mechanic with many years experience in the industry. It is a blow thru turbo stroker motor with very, very expensive dual carbs. Motor was custom built for this car. All piping was custom made to allow the turbo setup to fit on the vehicle without cutting into the body and turbo was placed centered in the rear for an amazing look. Most any shop around here would typically charge $8,000-$12,000 just to build the motor and turbo. This car really gets up and goes! The reason for selling is I am beginning to push forward with my goals in life and wanting to start N.A.S.A. auto-racing. I am finally in a good position to do so, but I do need more room in my garage and bit more cash to make this dream a reality. Thus, I am selling my pride and joy. My plans for this Meyers Manx Style car were to ceramic coat the exhaust, install a gps controlled speedometer, paint the vehicle(already started the sanding process to get ready for paint, but not completed), replace the output shaft seal on the trans(30 min job and $4 dollar part. This seal does drip about 1 drop of oil from the trans about every week, but does not affect driveablity), install a custom intercooler and oil-cooler, and just enjoy driving it. Very little needed to call this a completed project. I will also be including various extra parts, future replacement upgrade parts, etc if buyer would like them.) Shipping is not available. Buyer is responsible for arranging a transport or picking vehicle up. Feel free to message me with any questions or details. On Dec-23-13 at 07:52:05 PST, seller added the following information:I can provide more pictures or videos at the bidders request.
