Vehicle Detail

Revised detailed description updated. You are bidding on a original one owner 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2. VIN# WP0AB2969MS410906 with 16,521 ORIGIONAL miles. I acquired this car on or about late 2006 or 2007 from the original owners. Non smoking car. I have a copy of the original title. This car has Dark blue exterior tan interior original paint no rust never been crashed never been buffed or color sanded and has NO wax on it at this time. This project started out small and turned into a 5 year plus project. Lots of time and $$$ invested. It does have minor scratches around car from sitting and a bird stain just rear of the sunroof. Few tiny hard to see dings, Roof, top of left fender and top of right door(have pics). This car spent several years outside under a carport with a cover. The right rear side of the hood weather-strip leaked water into the under hood area and the interior of the car, (The owner didn't realize this was happening). Main computer 4/11/07 and distributor were replaced from Los Angeles Dismantler march 18 2007 in order to get the car running. Clutch is original like new, only replaced the pilot bearing when engine was out. Replaced idle control motor with new Bosche unit. New tires were purchased from tire rack march 2007. Car up on lift when not being worked on. Original dated tires were removed after discovering the flat spots on the first around the block test drive (Did not retain origs....). At this time I discovered the exhaust/compression leak and noted a few of the head studs were broken. The motor was carefully removed and disassembled in order to replace the typical broken head studs( upgrade ARP Canyon head studs) and resealed the engine in a manor to keep the car as original as possible (inside of motor looked like new). Clutch looked like new, only replace the pilot bearingStill a small oil leak from right valve cover...??? Fuel filter air filter and spark plugs, wires, distributor caps replaced. The radio and A/C control head were replaced with nice used originals from Stockton auto dismantlers purchased 4/5/13. The original speakers were removed and sent to orange co speaker for cone restoration3/7/13. Original gauges were sent to Hollywood speedometer in CA for restoration from rust around bezels and fogged lenses. Power window switches, power mirror switch and power door lock actuators were all replaced from Porsche, IMC or worldpac. Both power window motors, all 5 power seat motors and sunroof motors were removed ,disassembled cleaned lubed and reassembled in good working order.(motors looked like new inside, unable to turn from the white lube sitting for so long.) Left seat has no rips, after reassemble it operates normally with slight play in forward to rear movement...??? Right seat has 2 rips on butt bottom, back (back) rest has a large 5 inch tear. Under right seat the factory radio amp and another module were replaced from Oklahoma foreign (Gary)1/31/13.. No rust or repairs in factory floor boards. Whale Tail transmission was replaced with a good known used unit.). I no longer have the original floor mats/floor carpet. The original wood around pedals is broken in pieces not able to use(have). Steering wheel and shifter knob show very little use. Wiper motor was replaced with a good used unit. Original windshield washer cap and fuel filler are still on car. Power mirrors both work. The evaporator/heater box was removed; both blower motors were replaced with OEM Porsche. The expansion valve replaced with Porsche OEM. Didn't gamble on the evaporator leaking, it was also replaced with worldpac (looked closest to original). All 5 A/C door actuators were removed, motors removed disassembled cleaned lubed. Reassembled in working order (this part is about 400.00 or so each). A/C has R12 and is in working order at this time. The fuse box assembly was replaced with a good used unit as some relays as well. Fuel tank cleaned, fuel pump replaced with Bosche. Fuel sender replaced used from Oklahoma foreign (Gary)2/15/2013. The original tool kit(with some rust), jack, jack crank, air pump and plastic gloves are in car. Spare tire missing. Both headlamps are foggy/milky in working order. The chassis front, rear and under hood still retain the original factory paint marking on the hardware from final assembly line torqueing .......Both lower side rear molding in front of both rear tires have the clip retainers broken from panel. All 3 tail lights were replaced from Porsche 11/8/13 I have more pictures of the car and chassis. MOST OF THE PARTS THAT I REPLACED ON THIS CAR I STILL HAVE IN MY POSSESSION. This car was on display at the Daytona Turkey rod run from 11-27-13 to 12-1-13. If you would like to see a specific pic, request via email. Have lots of miscellaneous invoices for other miscellaneous parts as required throughout assemble this car to its current state. I feel the car still needs some minor work, colorsand and buffed maybe carpet and seats recovered. Airbag and seatbelt lamps stay on. This car run, drives and sounds great!!! Please serious inquires only!!!!!!On Dec-13-13 at 15:11:00 PST, seller added the following information: If your serious about this feel free to call Barry 305-793-4108On Dec-14-13 at 07:16:00 PST, seller added the following information:This is NOT a flood car. This car had a leak from hood weather strip (right rear of hood) water went under hood and into the interior of the car and sat for several years in this state. This is the reason for doing the work that was done to the car over the last 5 years. I have pics of all the old original parts that were replaced from moisture damage.
