Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This a 2009 Honda Foreman 500 Electronic Power Steering (EPS) 4x4 Utility ATV. The Foreman line is Honda's "Work Horse" line of ATV's. It is one of the most dependable ATV's ever made and they literally last a lifetime. It starts with the 500 class, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance.Electronic Power Steering (EPS) is hands down the best option on this Foreman. Once you ride an ATV with Power Steering, you will never want to be without it again. Not only does it make it easier to steer, but it will absorb bumps when you hit objects with one tire and not the other. No more having the handlebars jerked out of your hands when you catch a rock or tree root with one front tire and not the other. This Foreman is the Manual Shift version. The manual shift is a great option because there are no expensive hydraulic pump transmissions to replace, or any belts to slip and wear out. To be clear, even though you do shift with your foot, there is NO clutch lever to operate with your hand. These Foreman models can be taken in and out of 4 wheel drive simply by sliding a switch. Of course digital instrumentation, racks, and a trailer hitch are standard equipment. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on and ride every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This machine is in good condition. It has 1558 original miles and 226 engine hours of use. The engine is perfect and runs great. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc.The wheels are in nice shape and the tires have plenty of life remaining.This machine does have a few visual blemishes, such as a couple of small holes in the seat cover, a small lower section of the right front fender has been cut off, a missing front right a-arm guard, and a few sections of the camouflage that has started to peel off. None of these blemishes affect any form or function of the machine, they are purely cosmetic blemishes. We have provided pictures below to show you what we are describing.Everything on it functions exactly as it should. Accessories: We stock and install all the best ATV accessories. However, we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. If you are a licensed powersports dealer that's one thing, otherwise we will have to charge sales tax as outlined below. Please keep this in mind when considering placing bids on our items. If you have any questions or concerns about whether or not you should or shouldn't have to pay sales tax, PLEASE call us before bidding. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax.(Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
