1980 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit. The Silver Spirit was unveiled in 1980 as a replacement for the Silver Shadow. Rolls Royce built only 300 Spirits that year and this car is #44. Of the 300 cars that were built overseas only 5 cars that were right hand drive made it here to the US and this was one of them. The 1980 body style stayed in production all the way until 1998..long run of this classic style. This example is the rarest of the rare, a real survivor....a true conversation piece when onlookers see the spotless body and the steering wheel on the opposite side. As you check the many photos below (some 85 or so) you can clearly see the car is stunning inside and out. The main downside of this vintage rolls is the fact that they tend to rust..THERE IS NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THE CAR..the car has been in Texas and Florida..currentlly has a clear Florida title. The car has been impeccably restored. As you check the many photos below you can clearly see the paint and body are immaculate. The finish on the car is show quality, the clear coat has been sanded and buffect to a mirror-like gloss...The interior shows like new..the leather seats show absolutely no wear, the headliner has just been replaced, carpets excellent..non-smoker fresh. The wood is about 90% on the car. Substantiate my assessment of the car by studying the 80+ pictures below..they speak volumes to the car's overall physiccal condition..the car is truly exceptional. Mechanically the car has just gone though new brake spheres so the car stops on a dime !! The transmission was just replaced, carburators just rebuilt and valve seals just done..needless to say, after a close to $5000 service, the car is mechanically excellent and ready to tool the highways in true trouble-free fashion. I drive this car frequently and it is like driving on a cloud..just as nice as it ever gets, smooth and just simply real nice... ... Ice cold A/C..perfect suspension. I would not hesitate driving the car across country, it is that mechanically sound. Note that the driver's side power seat works, however slowly..if necessay, the seat can be moved manually. All 4 power windows power up and down with ease (rare on this vntage Rolls)...The radials are brand new and the wheel covers perfect...in summary you have a rarer than rare right hand drive vintage Rolls with an incredably stunning appearance both in and out that is mechanically excellent..if you need any more information please feel free to call me at 407-430-3798..good luck and thanks for looking !!
