Up for auction today is a 2007 Honda VFR 800 Intercepter - 25th Anniversary Edition the way Honda should have made it from the factory, (in my opinion). This bike is set up for the person who likes sport riding with a little touring in mind. Not to say you couldn't tour it the way it currently sits. Starting at the front of the bike... Gone are the soft-non adjustable factory front forks. Replacing those is a very nice set of newer Honda RC51 USD forks with full adjustabilty. To hold the RC51 forks in place is a Honda CBR954 lower triple clamp with new bearings and a CBR929 top triple, also a newer RC51 front wheel assy. Very nice swap done right with no expense spared and looks factory. Braking is done with a new set of EBC brake pads and stainless brake lines connected to the RC51 brake master so everything matches. And MAN this thing stops like NOW. Bike still retains the stock VFR800 ignition and key. Zero gravity tinted windscreen has been installed to give you a little less wind buffeting- more comfort. I still have the complete stock VFR800 front end and it will be included with the sale. Atop the fork legs are a set of Heli bars that give you a little more sport feel than the stock bars. A second set of Heli bars are also included which are taller for a more touring feel. Motor has a few air cleaner box mods and bike does have a Power Commander installed to match the Leo Vince exhaust. Rider foot pegs have been raised up and back a little as shown in pic. Once again for more sport feel. Passenger pegs are included as well and handles for the rear. Nice thing is you can remove the custom riser plates and return pegs back to stock location. Shift pattern is a reversed (GP) pattern done with Honda RC51 shift linkage. This to can be returned back to stock by simply removing linkage and reinstalling the stock shifter included. Gearing has been changed in rear( a little lower) but still have stock sprockets. Rear shock has been removed for an Ohlins unit. Full adjustably now in the rear also. Stock shock included. Rear stock caliper removed with linked system and installed a Brembo caliper with a stainless brake line up to the Brembo master cyl. Rear 180x55 tire has been swapped for a 190x55 tire for better sport handling. Bike has a fender eliminator kit installed in the rear as well. Heated grips for those cold day`s and has acc. power outlet. All paint and body is in MINT condition without a scratch, dent, rub anywhere. Does have your normal minor ware on the lower behind the front wheel from road debris. VFR has a low aprox 9,000 mi and runs fantastic and handles great. For the touring rider out there, this bike can be set up for a more touring- less sport riding position if you desire and I can make any changes you like. Reason for sale...
