For sale 1974 Dodge Challenger. Absolutely beautiful laser straight rust free car... Body: Original rust free southern body with all original panels. Car was stripped to bare metal and new base/clear paint job with top shelf PPG materials. Laser straight. Absolute show car mirror finish with no ripples, not even a rock chip anywhere. Fully wet sanded and polished. Color of car is an amazing blue/purple depending on the lighting...almost candy looking. Door jams and trunk jam repainted and new weather stripping installed. New stripes. New chrome bumpers front and rear, driver remote chrome door mirror, door sill plates, outside door handles, marker lights, rear tail panel moldings, wheel opening moldings, flip top gas cap, emblems etc...Stunning body and paint... Interior: Decent, not perfect. Complete in black. Seats have some seams opened but are decent. Dash has aftermarket re pop cover. Carpet is so-so. Door panels and headliner nice. A little TLC will make nice. Engine and Drivetrain: Engine is 318 with 75K miles on bottom end. Top end is new this spring with casting #302 closed chamber swirl port heads. Cylinder heads rebuilt with all new Comp Cam springs, locks, retainers, and seals. Comp Cam X-treme Energy 262 cam. Double roller chain and gears etc...Headers and flowmasters. Car is loud and has mean idle. Runs really strong for a 318 when opened up, About like a stock 340. Killer burn outs. Edelbrock performer rpm intake, hot ignition box, performer carb with electric choke. Mopar performance covers. 40-60 lbs. oil pressure. Never overheats. New alternator. Engine compartment is just painted black. Has header leak when started cold, goes away for the most part when warmed up. New header gaskets are included. As you know this is not uncommon for headers to leak sometimes...Transmission is 727. Fully rebuilt stock this spring. new driveshaft from mancini racing. New joints. 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 sure grip. Rear leaf springs have new bushings. front disc brakes. 15x8 rally wheels on rear, 15x7 on front. brand new BFG Radial T/A tires. Steering gearbox has a leak. A lot of work has been done to this car, but it is 40 years old. So I have to say being sold as is. Needs little to be VERY nice. (minor interior stuff) 5k in paint job alone. All lights and signals work, heater blower, wipers etc. Car is a driver. Ask questions. Please only serious buyers.
