1966 Impala Super Sport Convertible. Engine is not numbers matching but date correct. Seeing as I've personally known this car since 1967 I'm pretty sure it is the same motor and tranny that came in it new. My mother bought this car in 1967 from her friend, the first owner. I've taken care of it as best I've been able but I have to let it go. Although it is not restored and has imperfections it is a great running and great looking car that always grabs attention. New top, hydraulic pump, and rams, new windshield, new gas tank. The interior was redone and I replaced the front and rear suspension with polyurethane components as well as new rear shocks. New slotted/drilled front disc brakes with a dual diaphragm pump that makes this old girl stop on a dime. Powder coated wheels on like new Goodyear tires (less than a couple of hundred miles on them). Engine was rebuilt around 1999-2000 or so and Edelbrock carb was installed then, I also installed the MSD distributor and have the original. The engine and transmission are very smooth. AM/FM/CD player inside the glove box powers two speakers in the kick panels. Clock doesn't work and I don't know if the original radio does or not, it is not hooked up. New carpet and the vinyl interior is simply beautiful. The dome light at the end of the console near the back seat stayed on once and the heat slightly damaged the tip of the console so that is I think the biggest negative about the interior. It doesn't show too badly. Car has been repainted once back in the mid-90's and it has nicks here and there, a few scratches here and there but I think a very nice driver overall. I just put new felts in all the windows and door bumpers and some channel rubber seals, things like that. It has some rust in spots but is by no means falling apart. Even with it's negatives this is a great car, handles and rides great and really looks sharp. It is an original A/C car and I have a pump but not all the parts associated with the A/C. I have a bunch of stuff that will go with the car, new convertible cover when the top is down, I even still have the original and one I had made for it so three of those total. Some manuals and like I said, a bunch of stuff and it all goes with the car. Battery is very good and I keep it on a small charger and car has been garaged and will stay there until new buyer takes her away. Car and stuff is sold as is, no warranty, shipping or pickup is new owner's responsibility but I will help on this end as possible. Buyer needs to make $500.00 deposit through PayPal within 48hrs and full payment within 7 days of purchase. Cashier's check or cash in person only. When I have full payment you get the car and it's clear title and all the stuff. I've tried to make this simple and clear but call me if you have questions.
