Up for auction is a 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T project car. It is an original FE5 red 383 4v 4-speed car. It is 1 of 465 with the 383 and manual transmission. All paint and body work have been professionally completed, except for inside the trunk. I had the car repainted without the vinyl top as a personal preference. The manual transmission is numbers matching but the original 383 was replaced long ago. (The engine and transmission DO come with the car. Rear end is 8 3/4 with 3.55 gears.) Just so there is no misunderstanding- the car is basically a shell as there is no grill, taillight bezel, or interior. New parts that go with the Challenger include, gas tank, HD leaf springs, and T/A style spoiler (another personal preference). VIN was checked and is 'clear' (i.e. not stolen).
