For Sale is a 1946 GMC Pick-Up Truck. NO RESERVE. Great candidate for a ground-up restoration or rat rod project. The truck has an inline six-cylinder 239 engine I believe, not sure if original. The engine does start and run. All gears shift easily. Brakes are all intact but not working. Brakes along with tune-up, carburetor rebuild and a good once over would need to be done to make this a road-worthy truck. It has mostly surface rust but there are areas at the bottom of doors, hood and rear of cab where it has rust so please refer to the pictures. Truck is complete and interior is intact, floor and door panel was removed for purpose of pictures. Cab still has the heater fan. Truck comes with a few extra parts such as the rubber molding for the windshield and rubber tracks for the two door windows. All seems to be original except for the engine coil which has been replaced. It includes the spare tire, jack and original engine hand crank. Bed side panels and fenders are in good shape. Bed and tailgate are rough but seem solid. By the different colors of paint it seems someone had started some of the body work. All chrome trim, light bezels and hubcaps are in place. Only items missing are the rear bumper and tail-lights. I was told by the previous owner that the truck was a military truck and the tags on the firewall and bed of the truck are military identifications but no way of confirming that. I have a clear Florida title in my name. I have over 80 pictures of the truck, if you forward me your email I can forward those to you.
