Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 2005 Chevrolet Impala with 119,064 miles on it. It has the smaller 3.4L V6 engine and I always got 20-21 miles per gallon. I am the second owner and purchased it with only 16,000 miles. It has never been in an accident, although the driver's side mirror was damaged by another car parking next to it. The exterior color is white and its interior is light grey cloth. The engine and transmission is strong, with no strange noises or smells of any kind. I had the oil changed every 3,000 miles religiously. The car has a small indentation in the front left fender from me leaning against it. Seriously. The front hood has a small rusted dent at the front lip where you lift it up. There is a visible scratch where the rear passenger door meets the wheel well. There are also a couple of spots where paint is off of the metal because of me just power washing it, but no rust yet. The car does needs new front/rear struts and the air conditioning condensor also needs to be replaced. It doesn't work. The ac/heater/defroster fan blower motor does shuts off intermittently if you go over a big bump or pothole. My mechanic thinks just that the connector is loose. If the fan blower motor was shot, it wouldn't come on at all. So, when you replace the a.c. condensor, have them check the connection. The fan DOES still work. The exterior is nice and clean, but the interior could use a good detailing. There are no rips, tears, or burns of any kind anywhere, but it is dusty and dirty. There's also a scratch in the front windshield from the driver's side wiper blade arm. Unbelievably, the wiper blade somehow came off of the arm during a heavy rain storm. Other then the struts and ac condenser, the car needs nothing that I know of. This car would make a great taxi cab, a second car to commute back or forth to work or to the train station, or a first car for the kids to learn how to drive on or for away at college. I can't think of anything else to add about the car, so please feel free to email me through eBay if you have any specific questions about the car. Thanks for viewing my listing.
