Vehicle Detail

2001 Volvo V70 XC Cross Country AWD Wagon. I took this in on a debt that was owed to me. I know very little about Volvo's other that what I have researched online. But ask your questions and I will try to find the answer. It appears to have every standard option with the exception of the IAQS (interior air quality system) and rain sensor. Leather Interior (3rd row seating is cloth)Front Power Seats (working)Dual Climate Control (working)Homelink (untested) this is the replacement for your garage door openers.Weather Package (heated front seats and headlight wipers) (working)AM/FM/CASS/CD (working)Sunroof (working)Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel (working)Power Windows (working)Power Locks (working)Cruise Control (working)Roof RackFull Owners Manual Set The car is in overall decent condition. It does need a good detailing. Interior is a little dirty but I will clean it up a bit before delivery. The engine starts and runs good. Timing belt was replaced at 105K. The AC is cold and the Heat is hot. The seat heaters work well. there are no major defects in the leather other than the steering wheel. This car is originally from California and spent it's fare time in the sun. The dash is good. All the glass is intact. It has the 3rd row seating for the kids. There is a cargo mat in back but no other floor mats. The driver side carpet is the only area I found with any damage. It is worn through on the side. The tire have about 4K of use on them. New wiper blades all the way around. New engine mounts. New fuel door hinge. Fresh synthetic oil change with Mobil1 and K&N filter. New air filter. Now the bad. The transmission is starting to slip. My research shows this may be do to a bad valve body in the transmission or the transmission itself. Either way I have researched the pricing on this to be around $700. KBB shows a fair value in excess of 4K so I believe my price is reasonable. When cold it starts and drives for a few miles than it slips. The front struts will need to be replaced before long. S with any used car it will shows signs of wear and tear. In my opinion this car has a little more telling me this car has enjoyed the road. Because of this I recommend towing this vehicle home. It will drive onto a trailer. I do not have the space or time to keep this and fix it. My loss may be someones gain. I have looked at the pricing for parts on this vehicle and have found that parting it out is worth more than I am asking. This is a used vehicle and is sold as-is and where-is.
