This car is a very rare, Limited Production Chrysler New Yorker Salon. It has been in my family since purchased new in April, 1964. Chrysler announced these Limited Production cars in Feb 1963. They had a vinyl clad roof and all power options came standard. Only 593 of these cars were produced from 1963-1964, and reportedly (not confirmed) there are only 11 known left. This car comes with the original window sticker, original bill of sale, owners manual, and maintenance schedule book. The title is clear. Cosmetically, the car is excellent, body in excellent condition and never been wrecked. There is a dent in the rear bumper and a small piece of chrome crushed on the RR corner (pictures). The interior has been redone and is immaculate. There is no rust, however at one time there were small rust areas on the rocker panels that have been repaired. The tires are like new. The engine is all original. The car has 51,683 original miles, and the speedometer has never been disconnected. The motor starts and the car runs, however it has not been driven in a couple of years. At the time it was last driven, all the systems worked, including the air conditioner and cruise control. The car needs work done on the brakes, and has 2 cylinders with low compression,hence the reason it has not been driven and is no longer registered (no current license plates). The car was started recently and all power options work. The air conditioner compressor is working but only marginally cools. We believe it needs a new expansion valve. The battery is in excellent condition. This is a great car, but needs some mechanical work. Don't expect to drive it away, it will have to be transported. If you love the big, classic, Mopar cars, you must see this one. With a little effort this could easily be an award winning car. I am selling this for my father, who acquired it from his father, the original purchaser. The car has never been out of the family. If you are from out of the country, NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Buyer is responsible for any and all transportation/shipping charges, and car must be picked up within 7 days of final transaction.
