Vehicle Detail

2001 Acura Integra GSR 4DR Sedan 91,521 miles. I purchased this car about six years ago from a Columbus police officer who bought the car for his daughter at a police auction. He told me that a lot of the cars at those auctions are transferred into salvage titles before they auction them. He bought the car and transferred it into a rebuilt salvage title. His daughter did not want a manual shift so he put it up for sale. I bought the car because, besides some of the dents and things, it looked like it was well taken care of and had tasteful upgrades. The car has H&R springs and Koni shocks which I put on about 25-30,000 miles ago. Springs look great but the shocks look a bit rough cosmetically because I did drive it all year round. It has an AEM intake, Neuspeed front strut tower bar and a Neuspeed rear strut tower bar. Car has an aftermarket rear wing of some kind. Just put on new Hawk HPS brake pads and Centric brake rotors. It has 15" black Konig wheels on it with Kumho tires. The wheels are in great shape except for some minor paint bubbling on a couple of the wheels near the center cap. The tires are in average shape. There is a picture of the car with 17" wheels and Kumho tires on it. Those wheels go with the car, but they are pretty rough. Two of the tires are in great shape and the other two about average. All of the panels on the car are original but the front and rear bumpers have been repainted as well as the driver side doors. I have tried to show some of the damage in the pictures. The driver side front fender has a few dents and scrapes in it. The passenger side has a couple of scrapes on the top of the fender. The front bumper is peppered and has some scrapes. The rear bumper has an area with some stress cracked paint but no scuffs or damage. See picture. The passenger side rear door has a damaged area along the middle as shown in the picture. I bought the car with these scrapes and dents on it, but I could never figure out how they would have gotten there. There is some rust on the backside of the fender well lips of both rear fenders. I have shown one rear fender in a picture. I have touched up the paint on the outside of the lips around the wheel wells in the past to keep the surface sealed. The car still had the rubber fender lip trim on them when I got the car and didn't take them off till a few years ago. By then some of the paint was already discolored and I had to touch it up. The drivers side power mirror works in the up and down but not the side to side. There is a scuff on the rear seat as shown in picture. The hood release cable is a little sticky so you have to play with it a little before you close the hood. The stock muffler is quiet but has some rust on it. One rear taillight has a crack in it. I'm trying to give as much detail as possible so there are no surprises when someone buys it. Its hard to tell a lot from pictures, so I think the description is really important and helpful.
