This Delorean has been owned by my 72 year old Mother-in-Law since 1982 and she is the 2nd owner. Serial# 3037 (First Delorean was serial# 500) It has 12k original miles "Gauranteed". She used it on weekends and only in her small town of National City Ca. (she is a very timid Asian driver and even her husband didn't drive it). Parked since 1993 but was started regularly until 2005. I recently cleaned the fuel lines and used a new Fuel Pump in a gas can to get it started (we put diesel on the pistons prior to starting and let it sit for 2 days). The car will need new tires, complete tune up, thermostat, Brake job and many minor fixes but it is a complete and unmolested vehicle ready for it's 3rd owner. It started easily and runs smooth with no smoke. Interior is dry and will need seat covers & dash top which are approximately $1,100 from Delorean in Texas. Clean Clear Title and was filed Non-Op in 1995. I cleaned the fuel lines and injectors. (it is currently running from a 2 gallon gas can using a New Delorean Pump and I do not have the pump boot).Automatic Transmission shifts nicely and drives in forward and reverse but I only moved around my yard. (Brakes are Very Bad it will need brakes)Drivers door stays up and Passenger door stays up about 3/4. Hood and trunk lifts do not work.Drivers window works passengers window does not.Passenger exterior door handle is broken. I bought but have not installed a new one.Carpet is excellent (could use a cleaning)Reserve is $10,000 which is well under comparable Deloreans. This is not an offer to come kick the tires.
