Vehicle Detail
Hi there. Since my 67' BSA is nearing completion, I've decided it's time for my Triumph to find a new home. This bike has been great to have and ride, and I will miss it when it goes. This is not a numbers-matching, 100 % rebuilt, 'needs nothing' kind of bike. That is why it is priced low. Super tasty 100 % correct examples of these bikes are very expensive and 'stress you out', every time you park them out of site. The good news is that, since it has a later engine (T120R DU 13734), it has a 5-speed transmission. I've owned and ridden both and the 5-speed makes for a MUCH nicer bike, out on the road. Cosmetically it needs nothing, as you can see. It can be ridden regularly, as it sits. Other highlights include: New tires, New Hagon shocks, Progressive Suspension fork springs, new battery, new chain and new paint job. Wheels rebuilt with new brgs/seals and Buchannan's spoke kits (the rear got a new rim too), I believe in complete disclosure, so I will enumerate things that this bike will need, in the future. The bore, pistons and rings are fresh, but when hot she smokes a bit. So a cylinder-head overhaul is in the offing. The swing arm bushings have just a hint of play. This repair can/could wait for many thousands of miles. Ride it, restore it, the choice is yours. The main thing to do is come get it. It has fresh tires and tons of work already done to it. I follow market trends, on this and many other marques, all the time. Believe me (or don't) this is one great deal. The bike is advertised locally so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. No reserve, so come on and get in the game. Thanks for looking and good luck.
