2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins Diesel I have owned this truck for 6 years and it is a great running truck. I bought this truck with 190,000 miles on it and it was completely stock at that time, it currently has 243,500 miles on it and since I have owned it I have done a few modifications but nothing major. This truck has been my daily driver as long as I have owned it and used around the farm, but I can guarantee it has not been abused, if anything it has been babied. Truck is 100% mechanically in check, uses absolutely no oil, and starts every time the key turns, a typical Cummins. I would not hesitate to drive this truck across country. Aside from the 100% mechanical status, the body is beginning to show a little bit of wear, the typical Dodge pitfalls. Truck specifics and modifications: -243,500 Miles -Edge Drag Comp Programmer (This is the only power adding device that this truck has ever had which is relatively mild considering everything that is out there. 99% of the time I run this programmer on Level 2 which does not stress the injection pump) -Built Automatic Transmission: Transmission was just built this past spring by Dan's Transmission in Gas City, Indiana, he specializes in Dodge Cummins transmissions and did a great job. The transmission is perfect for daily driving, it is not a crazy transmission but is just right for this truck. It has Goerend internals and a Goerend Triple Disc Converter, has stock shafts. Build cost was ~$3900, I have the full build sheet and receipts, and transmission only has about 5-6,000 miles on it -AirDog 100 Lift Pump System -Full Set of DiPricol Gauges on A-Pillar -Batteries are less than 1 year old -I just put new Sport Headlights in the truck this past spring as well, much better than the stock lights -There is a Goosneck ball in the bed although I have never used it in the 6 years I have owned this truck (This truck has the Camper Towing Package, and as far as I know, the previous owner before me used this truck to tow campers across the country. The Camper package also adds extra springs over the rear axle) -Truck has always had 5,000 mile interval oil changes -Tires are 85% tread -The body, does have some of Dodge typical rust, Driver's cab corner shows some rust, from wheel wells have some bubbling, paint is fading on the hood and roof -As said earlier, this truck is 100% mechanically and needs nothing, would make a great truck for anybody that needs a diesel pickup -Truck is currently located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana
