No Reserve! High bid buys this beautiful Corvette! You are bidding on a very nice '97 Corvette, black on black leather, automatic, chrome wheels, glass targa top, with just over 87K actual miles. The vehicle runs and drives perfectly with cold a/c and like new tires all around. 100% stock and unmodified, adult owned, no chips or cracking in the glass targa top and very few blemishes to the chrome wheels; all tough to find in an early C5 'vette! No paint work, prior accidents, replaced panels, or damage to the exterior; only the normal very minor chips/light scratches to be expected on a 16 year old vehicle. A few panels have light touch up that has been professionally done. I've done my best to capture it in the photos but it's very tough to notice, even when close to the vehicle. The interior shows great as well; no rips/tears/stains or major issues. Every power option works including the climate control. The driver side seat is a bit loose in the track (rocks back about an inch, does not slide in track) which is a common issue on C5 Corvettes over time. Mechanically, the car is great. As mentioned before, it's a very sound car that idles, runs, and drives very well all around. I have complete service records since 2010 almost entirely from a local Chevrolet dealer. The only outstanding intermittent issue is with the power headlight buckets that may need to be addressed down the road. They work perfectly most of the time so I've not had the issue diagnosed. The fuel pump whines a bit to me but, again absolutely zero drivability issues and I was assured upon purchase that it was functioning perfectly. Could just be me being particular but again, I want to be sure to disclose absolutely everything. My wife and I are expecting a baby this month so I'm selling the Corvette to free up some funds and space. I own the car outright (no worries about a lien payoff or waiting on a title) and, for obvious reasons, I'm motivated to sell. For reference, Kelley Blue Book lists the vehicle's trade-in value in "good" condition at $15,475, private party $17,922. NADA clean trade-in is $12,175, retail $15,425. I pride myself on accurate, honest listings and this shows in a 100% positive feedback score that includes prior vehicle sales. I've done my best to take pictures of all defects, no matter how minor they might be. I accept cash for in-person pickup only (not via mail) or certified funds as payment which will be due in full within 7 days of the auction's close. It means only that the vehicle can be sold without an odometer disclosure statement if need be.
