I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 Z71 4x4. I will get right to it. It has a wrist pin or rod knock. It still runs and drives great it just has a knock at 2000 RPMs. It has black exterior and gray cloth interior. The interior is in great shape with no rips or cracks in the seats or dash. The paint is in good shape with some miner scratches. It has rust on the rocker panels and cab corners and some over the fender wells, but the frame is in great shape. It was not a plow truck or salt spreader, it is just a Chevy truck with a lot of miles. It has rims off of a newer GMC. It has true duel glass packs. The transmission shifts great with no problems. I just changed the oil and filter with 40wt and motor honey to help the knock. I also changed the fuel filter. I have been driving it like this for about 2 weeks, and it is not getting any worse.
