Vehicle Detail

This bike is relisted. The previous winner says he didn't see the update I posted after the error I made on the original posing concerning the year. It is a 1984 Honda Interceptor 750F. I bought this bike last spring without a title to see if I could make it run. After about 40 plus hours between my metric bike mechanic and me, we got it running. I went up the street and back down. The tank is rough on the inside. It's time to let it go. I can run the motor by jumping from the battery straight to the starter. I bought a bank of carbs bench synced, and then synced on the bike. I have the original carbs partially torn apart from the previous owner. The seat has a 2 inch tear, but I have all the other particulars up and working on this bike. It has some rust. I picked it up from coastal Carolina. The previous owner claimed all the information was available at the DMV in North Carolina but I couldn't get the previous owner to get me the title. Ask any questions. There is no reserve. I will help any way I can on shipping, but ultimately, it is the buyers responsibility. I won't crate the bike. I will deliver for free within 100 miles. I own my transport business and ship thru uship, so if you need it shipped, I will give you a good quote. Thank you. There have been numerous questions concerning the title. The same questions I had when I bought the bike without the title. So, I spent the money for a NMVTIS Multi-state Vehicle History Report just for you guys. Here is the website, but don't spend your money. I already did and will give the highest bidder a printed copy. http://www.add123.com/ If I get enough heat, I will do so. The report essentially says: "NO" in all categories including but not limited to: NO salvage, NO bonds, NO flood, NO Lien and others. According to this report the bike was last registered in Massachusetts issued 6/21/96 with 33743 miles. In addition, I've answered the title inquiries thusly: Most states allow you to bring a motorcycle to a police officer, have him come to you, or to a DMV official or to a Military Officer if you are on active duty. With the proper form from the DMV, they transcribe the vin number and you take the form to the DMV where they can process for a lost title. I just did it in my state, Montana with a 1995 BMW K75 without any problems. The officer even came to my house. Montana is a great state to license a bike because we have a permanent plate and do not require insurance on a motorcycle. A title is different then a registration. Most states don't require that an item be roadworthy to get a vehicle titled. Vermont has a pretty good deal going thru this site: http://www.motorecyclenow.com/title-service.html I haven't registered anything thru them because my state is fairly easy. No, the tank has no dents and it is not rusted thru. It's just rusty on the inside and pieces of the cream job have come loose. Yes, there is a piece missing on the handle bars that covers what is generally the fuse box. All of the lights work, the horn works, but the horn switch does not. If you have any other questions, please ask. Frank
