BMW 325i M Technic cabrio with the full M Technic package. There were less than two hundred of these vehicles from the factory badged M Technic. While many are called M Technic, again, only a very limited number came from the factory with this package which is believed to have added $7,500.00 to the cost. The M Technic package consisted of a different interior, full skirts, bigger wheels and a lowered suspension and some other items. I have owned this vehicle for about four years and have spent many dollars and hours on this vehicle in bringing it back although some things still need to be done and will be mentioned below. Most improvements mentioned below have been done within the past 5K miles while owned by me. Under the hood: Top end overhaul, rebuilt injectors, timing belt, water pump, fan clutch, spark plugs, cap, rotor, rebuilt alternator although it is tweeting. Air conditioner works and has been upgraded to current refrigerant. Underside: New lower control arms and struts. A rebuilt rack by the prior owner, new German exhaust from the converter back, new rear end mount. Trim: New top with in the past two years made of the genuine original cloth, new front top seal. The power mechanism has been gutted as they were all defective. Latches installed for the boot lid. Newer windshield by prior owner. Good carpets in grey. Driver's seat was reupholstered in vinyl not by me. The passenger bolsters are shot. The upper back seat has been redone but the seat bottom is also shot. Unfortunately the cloth sections have been reupholstered with BMW cloth but not in the original pattern. The dash has a few cracks but not extreme. The truck has a complete tool kit and new hydraulic supports. Wheels: Vintage reconditioned wheels marked Fitipaldi. Tires have a few thousand miles on them. Wheels are 15" Paint: The car has been completely repainted in sections. From the mid point back the paint is very nice. From the mid point forward not quite as nice. Two small dents on the top edge of the front fenders. Car runs very well and lots of pep especially at higher RPMs and needs nothing mechanically. All and all a fairly nice but not perfect example of a very collectible car ready to be taken to the next level. An inspection before bidding is highly recommended as the vehicle is sold strictly as is where is. I am sure I have missed something so don't hesitate to ask.
