I drove it about 6 to 7 miles a day since 3 year. My expenses on this car so far = 1 alternator belt, I set of wiper blades, a complete new exhaust (mainly due to the fact that Midas had done a s…. job in the past with the former lady owner, one new tire and i new right front wheel bearing !The lady former owner had replaced many parts on this car…due only to the fact that she was taken to the cleaner each time she went to the garage for whatever reason. I have tons of (unjustified) bills for parts replacement for this car22 year old car far above average shape and condition for the yearThis is a great German classic that sold for over $30 000.00 in 1991It was the top of the line and tough competition for BMW and MBThis car is already a collector car and is for the wise and/or future collectorThis is not the run of the mill used car, it is sold as a classic collector piece.It is absolutely loaded with all original equipment PRO- Car inspected good until next late February (2014)- Very strong 5 cylinder fuel injected engine 2.3 L (141 CID) 130 HP/140 ft torque- Very strong 4 speed automatic transmission with Sport shifting option- Tinted windows all around- Dual electric sunroofs (see pics)- Radio antenna incorporated in windshield- Power windows all around- Grey Cloth velour interior- Leather steering wheel- Driver’s airbag- Cruise control (never used it I hate that stuff)- Automatic electronic climate control- A/C cold- Front full electrical seats (10 adjustments and 4 memory)- Heated seats- Wood accent dashboard- Full dashboard (tach, speedo, oil pressure, oil temperature, water temp, fuel, amp meter)- New Pioneer radio- Electric outer rear view mirrors- Electric outer rear view mirrors defogger- Power door locks- Power steering (rack and pinion)- Power brakes- Original mag wheels (even spare wheel is on original mag wheel)- 1 brand new tire + 4 very good tires- Nearly new battery- Brand new dual blade wiper blades- Only 128 K miles since new (see text)- NC Inspection - BRAND NEW exhaust system less than 3K miles- Two sets of keys- Trunk is as clean as the interior- This car has always been very well maintained- This 5 cylinder engine does not burn a drop of oil and runs strong- No oil leaks anywhere- Interior is in super state. Probably no one ever sat in the back !- Both sun shades have lit courtesy mirrors- Zinc-coated all steel body- This engine requires only an oil change every 6 months or 7500 miles (factory recommendation) Oil change and filter have been performed recently- Runs very nice and smoothly- Superb oil pressure- Front wheel drive with dual constant velocity joints (recently replaced)- Heater is very hot.- Starter motor has been replaced- Alternator has been replaced- New alternator belt and adjusting system (specific to Audi)- All rubber trimming are nice and soft- Good chrome- Windshield is perfect (no pitting)- BAND NEW exhaust system- NO rust anywhere- NO accident- NEW OIL AND FILTER 'less than 20 miles ! ! ! This car comes also with:- Original owners manual- Original Warranty documents- Original dealer/window sticker- ALL maintenance and repair invoices since the past 10 years or so (no expenses spared in the maintenance of this car !) What the car needs:Needs a bit of TLCIt has a few scratches due to its age and overall paint is good but will need a good waxing and the clear varnish is peeling off . There is a very small ding on the left rear (hard to really see – see pic)This car has 3 things to look after (but nothing that stops the car from running superbly well everyday):1 – There is some kind of “ground electrical something” somewhere For instance the signal light arrows on dashboard are flashing weak when headlight are on (but all lights are perfect though. Sometimes when engine is started cold the overheating beeper come on then goes away. The radio sometimes plays only on left speaker then goes back to all of them. . The oil temperature gauge is locked into hot position and will eventually come back to normal. ABS light is on and there are some beep when turning steering wheel. The odometer stopped working with this “electrical ground thing. It stopped at 126 K miles and now I think we have driven it less than 2K miles. The windshield washer pump stopped working as well but wipers work perfectly well. . So I thing the overall “electrical” problem is most probably a ground connection somewhere, but I am everything excepted an electrician ! ! !2 – I am no mechanic but it looks like there is a little piece of shaft (about 3 in long) missing between the throttle and a vacuum control of some kind ion top of the engine3 – Needs a few squirts of oil in various suspension arms. This is really nothing but need a lift to do it and I do not have one !4- Sunshades need TLC (mirror) The only thing not original on this car is the radio.All rubber trimmings are nice and softGood chromeNO RUST WHATSOEVERTitle in handCash sale only, no trades.Please note: The brand new exhaust system is a ANSA exhaust system (with new clamps and rubber hangers as well)Reason for selling this car : we are moving soon abroad and do not need this car any longerAvailable immediatelyI have many more pics available upon simple request by emailContact me for phone number if interested
