Vehicle Detail
The 1988 Pontiac Fiero is the most refined of the 5 years that Pontiac made this two seater. 1988 is the last year they built the Fiero, and they got it right! They made great advances in the suspension system over the previous years. The GT (fastback) version is highly desired for its sporty looks and handling. They received a 5 star safety rating when built. They have become a classic and for good reason. This is a very nice 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. It sports custom paint inspired by the 2013 427ci Corvette convertible, Corvette White with Marina Blue (looks silver-ish) stripes. The car came from the factory white. The engine runs well with no issues. The transmission shifts perfectly. Interior is very nice (small tear in driver's leather seat), has A/C, Power windows. Door locks, power mirrors, factory sub-woofer, cruise control, sunroof. Car runs very well and can be driven anywhere. It is currently tagged and inspected. The front and rear suspension has been completely rebuilt using upgraded parts (struts, shocks, bushings). Recently aligned. New brake calipers, rotors and pads on front and rear. Tires are in excellent shape. New headliner installed. The Air Conditioning works but not freezing cold. Headlights function properly as well as windows and locks. Right rear outer lens has small crack at top. Originally from California and now in Texas, there are NO rust issues on this car. Miles are 136K and may increase due to driving. This is a very nice car. It isn't a museum quality car but it isn't priced as high as the museum quality cars. The car draws lots of attention. Here is video of car running: http://www.flickr.com/photos/101712976@N06/10314346023/ Car is for sale locally also, so I do reserve the right to end auction early.
