Vehicle Detail

Suzuki SV650S SVeetfighter This custom streetfighter build started as a 2003 SV650.  It was COMPLETELY disassembled and custom parts were fabricated to reflect the artist's vision of a true streetfighter motorcycle.  Please take a few minutes to review the build documentation and photos (link below).  Including over 40 powder-coated parts and upgraded parts, the primary goal was undoubtedly to produce a motorcycle that handled as well as it looked.  To create the proper handling, the suspension was upgraded to GSXR components.  The first few corners on this motorcycle will bring the rider a thought of "wow - well done".  I use the bike as a coffee bike, occasionally riding a 100-mile loop with my fellow group riders.  The bike turns heads just about anywhere it goes not just for the amazing sound (more Ducati-like in my opinion) but also for the beautiful build quality.  Everything on the SVTFighter works properly and needs nothing; it is ready for you to enjoy.   I installed a new front Dunlop Q2 about 700 miles ago.  The title is a rebuild/salvage title but the bike is currently tagged/inspected here in North Carolina.  Once you view the build documentation, you'll see why the salvage title doesn't matter.  I have the clear title in hand, ready to have notarized for the new collector/rider.  Full documentation of the SVTFighter build can be found at  SVTFighter Build Documentation Many more photos (snapped today - October 8, 2013) can be found at SVTFighter Photos Video of the SVTFighter starting and running at SVTFighter Video (a 720p video of this is also available upon request) Some of the modifications include: Yamaha R6 Supersport race seat fairing requiring mods to subframe, seat, side covers, etc Custom made battery box cover doubling as license plate mount with LED lights GSXR1000 upside down forks and wheel with trimmed lower triple clamps GSXR750 upper triple clamps with RM250 handle bar clamps added GSXR1000 radial brakes and master cylinder Trimmed stock fairing requiring new mounting brackets, trimmed screen, fiberglass rear panel Lower chin fairing bought aftermarket LSL Superbike handlebar Trail Tech Vapor gauges with custom brackets and dash panel Integrated SV tail light and turn signals Ceramic coated black exhaust headers Shortened M4 exhaust canister Paint includes a lot of black, candy apple red and gold If you are in the RTP area, you are welcome stop by my house and see the bike in person.  Weather permitting, I'll be at Cup A Joe (3100 Hillsborough St, Raleigh NC) on Saturday October 12 about 9am-10am for coffee and you can see the bike at that time as well. Cheers and Happy Bidding, Dave
